WHAT ARE THE GROUNDS?
The grounds include the event center and the surrounding 375 acres of rolling corn, bean fields, and pastures.
DO YOU HAVE A BRIDAL SUITE?
Yes, we have a well furnished bridal suite that is climate controlled. It also has a makeup bar that stretches the length of the room. The bridal suite connects to the women’s restroom, which also has HVAC, and a smaller four foot long make up bar.
DO YOU HOST MORE THAN ONE EVENT AT A TIME?
We never host more than one event at a time.
DOES THE BARN HAVE HVAC SERVICES?
The main hall does not, but it does have four sixty inch windmill fans in the lower section which more than adequately move air to create a cool atmosphere. The five smaller rooms under the roof of the event center all have HVAC services.
DO YOU OFFER LODGING?
No, there are several hotel options located in Springhurst, Kentucky which is about fifteen minutes away. They are located off the Gene Snyder Brownsboro Road exit. The Drury Inn and the Hilton Garden Inn.
IS THERE A MINIMUM RENTAL TIME?
The Barn can be rented for one or two day celebrations/events/weddings.
IS THE RENTAL FEE A CHARGE PER PERSON?
No, we charge a daily rate for the venue and grounds. That rate is the same regardless if you have 25 or 200 guests.
DO RATES DIFFER ON WEEKENDS?
No, same daily rates are applied based on category, either event/celebration (1 DAY) or wedding (2 DAY).
ARE FIREWORKS ALLOWED?
Fireworks are not permitted on the property unless prior approval has been granted in writing from Land O’ Goshen Farm Management.
WHAT IS THE MAX AMOUNT OF GUEST?
If the event center is rented exclusively and no tents are rented from caterers, parties cannot exceed 200. If large tents are rented for cermeonies and receptions, 350 guests is the occupancy limit.
DO YOU HAVE AN AREA TO PARK CARS?
We have a well lit 52-car space parking lot, a parking lot for limo/catering vans, and a 4-space designated handicap parking in front of the event center. All parking lots will be marked by signage.
DOES THE BARN RENTAL COME WITH TABLES AND CHAIRS?
No, we do not provide tables and chairs for the ceremony/reception. We do provide furniture in several of the rooms and outside sitting areas but no tables and chairs. We also do provide eleven hightop whiskey barrel tables and ten bar stools that guests can use at their discretion.
CAN WE HAVE THE CEREMONY ON THE PROPERTY?
YES!! We encourage this and firmly believe this will contribute to memories and experiences of a lifetime. You are welcome to choose anywhere on the farm for the ceremony. We do have 2 suggested locations that provide wonderful views and picturesque backgrounds.
WHERE CAN WE HAVE THE CEREMONY IF IT RAINS?
In the event of rain, you can hold your ceremony inside the barn in the main hall.
CAN WE DECORATE THE BARN?
Yes, we encourage you to put your personal touch on the barn. Remember, the barn is a blank canvas for you to make your own for your special day. Just don’t use nails or anything permanent. Decorating (for weddings) can start the day before at noon and the day of at 8 am. For a 1 DAY celebrations, decorating can start at 8 am.
DO YOU HAVE A VENDOR LIST?
Yes, we have a vendor list that we can provide to help you with the planning of your event.
ARE LINENS, PLATES, SILVERWARE, AND GLASSWARE PROVIDED?
No, they will be provided through your caterer or another vendor on our vendor list.

Yes, Land O’ Goshen Farm Event Center can provide a curated vendors list for you to view as well as recommendations for experienced wedding planners who are familiar with the venue.
