THE BARN
Originally built in the 1940’s after The Great Depression, the Barn has never looked as good as it does today. Newly renovated and repurposed into an event center in 2019. The 6,700 sqft barn is held up by Locust Grove posts that were cut from Locust trees that used to sit 20 feet from the barn. Next thing you’ll notice is the stunning polished concrete floor. By design, the concrete floor was installed to look like the creek bed that also runs through part of the 375 acre property.
THE MAIN HALL
Originally built in the 1940’s, the main hall has been completely renovated and updated with an emphasis on staying true to the almost 100 year old barn. Renovated in 2019 by the fourth generation owner, and with some help from the local Amish community, no detail was missed. The main hall is a wide open space held up by 14 locust posts, 7 on each side running the length of the barn every 12 feet. The posts were sourced from the grove right behind the barn, which can be seen from the deck and leisure area. The rafters are all original and give the barn an authentic historic, yet modern open feeling. The main entrance uses a huge single barn door and the exit to the back deck has two barn doors. The entire floor is a highly polished concrete floor that mimics the creek that runs through the historic property. New lighting and fans are throughout the barn and stay true to the farmhouse/barn theme. You have to see the barn in person to fully grasp the “no stone unturned” approach that was used to renovate the barn.
THE DECK
New to the barn with the renovation is a massive Amish Built 1,500 sqft deck. The deck overlooks 75 acres and Harrods Creek Hill and will leave your guests in awe. It is perfect for a dance floor/band, additional seating space, or for an elaborate bridal party grand entrance. This deck is huge and has to be seen in person to fully appreciate the fun that will take place by this truly amazing addition to the Barn.
THE BRIDAL ROOM
The Bridal Room is connected to the Women’s Restroom and the Main Hall. It features a makeup bar and a mirror that runs the length of the room to make sure all Bridesmaids have their space to look their best for the Brides big day. It is air-conditioned and has ample amounts of storage space that can be used for purses, shoes, spare clothes, etc.. It is 11X14′ and has a rolling coat hanger that is great for keeping the Bride and her maids dresses wrinkle free for them to look their best!
THE GROOMS ROOM
Grooms are often forgotten in the whole getting ready phase, but we made sure to have a dedicated room for them too. Our Grooms room is a 262 sqft area that is located just off the Leisure area. It too has a large mirror and is air-conditioned for the Groomsmen to look their best. It also features a refrigerator, humidor, and a bar area for the men to gather and share their favorite stories about their good friend who’s about to get married!
THE RESTROOMS
The Women's Restroom - is a very spacious 252 sq. ft. that is air-conditioned. It features one handicap stall and sink, 4 private toilets, a massive mirror that spans the back wall above the sinks. The sinks are made of steel pails and garden faucets to keep with the rustic barn feel. The women’s restroom also features a 4′ makeup bar for guest to either get ready, or do some touching up. The restroom also is connected to the Brides Room for easy access for the Bridal Party.
The Men’s Restroom - is also a very large 276 sq. ft. space for guest to use. It features one handicap stall, 4 private stalls, and four garden sinks. There is ample space for guest to change or get ready. It too is air-conditioned and is located just off the Main Hall.
Both Restrooms are double the recommended size to ensure no lines or waiting for guest to get right back onto the dance floor! They both are very spacious and will have your guest in awe that a barn could have restrooms as nice as these!
THE LEISURE AREA
In addition to the large deck for outdoor entertaining, the leisure area is another outdoor area that is covered. It is 492 sqft with outdoor string lights that keeps with the rustic theme throughout. It is connected to the Main Hall and the Grooms Room. This space is great because it is covered and allows you to have an outdoor area for guest to gather even if there’s a chance of rain.
THE PREP ROOM
The Prep Room is a caterers dream! It is a very spacious room with the below amenities included:
- Two Compartment Sink.
- 49.5 cu. ft. Industrial Refrigerator.
- (4) 4′ stainless steel shelving for food, plate ware, linens, etc.
- 3 compartment sink for washing dishes.
- Mop Sink
- Ice Machine
- (3) 72X24″ stainless steel work tables.
- (2) large capacity coolers (if needed).
- (2) large oven warmers to keep hot food hot.
- (20) warming sheets.
- (8) outlets throughout for additional prep needs.
- Extra outlets on ceiling for prep needs.
- Deep Freezer
